Coperion Food, Health & Nutrition used its presence at Petfood Forum 2026 to support both animal welfare and pet industry workforce development, sponsoring the Polk County Humane Society and the Future of Petfood Pavilion.
The company sponsored six shelter puppies from Missouri State University’s companion animal courses, where students worked with the animals ahead of the event to improve their socialization and adoptability. The puppies visited Coperion’s booth during the show.
Coperion also sponsored the Future of Petfood Pavilion, an initiative bridging industry innovation with emerging professionals. The company further contributed to the Tech Talk Stage, where Jonathan O. Thorn, Executive Director of Process Technology, presented on extruder hood designs that promote sanitary processes.
On the exhibition floor, Coperion showcased its end-to-end processing portfolio, including the Rotary Moulder Mini, IBC Liquid Tote System, E-finity® Pneumatic Conveying System, Kemutec KEK Cone Mill, and live demos of Connect Advisor digital support.
Coperion unites advanced technology brands – Baker Perkins, Bakon, DIOSNA, K-Tron, Kemutec, Peerless, Shaffer, Shick Esteve, Unifiller and VMI – to deliver complete solutions for pet food and treat production.
