DocuPet Welcomes Abbie Moore as New Chief Product Officer

DocuPet, a leading platform for pet registration, identification, and lost pet reunification, has announced the appointment of Abbie Moore as Chief Product Officer (CPO). In her new job, Moore will drive product strategy, design, and development across DocuPet’s core services, including its flagship licensing platform, while also managing product leadership for Wagoria, the company’s planned mobile app ecosystem.

Moore offers considerable product leadership experience spanning the pet care and animal welfare technologies sectors. She most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Petco Love, where she spearheaded digital consumer initiatives and direct-to-consumer programs targeted at improving outcomes for pets and pet owners. Before that, she spent 18 years at Adopt-a-Pet.com in key product and operational roles, including CPO, COO, and CEO, where she played a big part in the organisation’s acquisition by Mars Kinship. Product innovation, ross-functional leadership, and technology-driven growth are among her areas of competence.

“We are delighted to welcome Abbie Moore to our leadership team,” said Grant Goodwin, CEO of DocuPet. “Her track record of innovation, deep passion for animal welfare, and ability to scale digital platforms make her the perfect leader to drive our next phase of product evolution. With Abbie at the helm, we will enhance the experience for pet owners, accelerate adoption of our reunification services, and expand the impact of our technology on pet safety and welfare.”

In her new job, Moore will be responsible for creating and implementing the product strategy for both DocuPet’s core platform and the Wagoria mobile experience. She will supervise product design, UX, engineering, and data insights teams to develop intuitive, owner-centric technologies that seamlessly link licensing services, the National Pet Registry, and DocuPet’s shelter network. Her mandate includes extending the platform into new products and services, strengthening community features, and enhancing the company’s HomeSafe 24/7 lost pet help system. She will also work directly with animal welfare organisations, municipal partners, and ecosystem stakeholders to ensure product alignment with operational demands.

“I’m truly honored to join DocuPet at this pivotal moment,” Moore said. “Keeping pets safe and families connected has shaped my career, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful compassionate technology can be. DocuPet’s mission and its national reach give us a tremendous opportunity to create products that reunite lost pets faster, support wellness and behavior, and strengthen the bond between pets and the people who love them.”

Moore’s leadership is expected to accelerate improvements in mobile ecosystems, health and location tracking, seamless reunification technologies, and AI-enhanced engagement for pet owners, honoured
