Pet retailer Jollyes has made two new appointments to its leadership team as it continues its expansion across the UK.
Sean McGinty has joined Jollyes as Chief Marketing Officer from Dunelm, where he served as Marketing Director. In his new role, he will have direct responsibility for Jollyes’ customer, marketing, digital and loyalty proposition. Prior to Dunelm, he was Marketing Director at Aldi UK and has also held senior marketing roles at Debenhams and Asda.
David Stokes will join the business in May as Retail and Supply Chain Director, taking on responsibilities previously held by Adam Dury, who was promoted to Chief Executive Designate last October. Stokes has spent the past six years at Gregory Group, a third-party logistics provider in the South West of England. Before that, he worked for 16 years at Lidl in senior roles across retail, supply chain and logistics in both the UK and Europe.
Last week, Jollyes opened its newest store in Ponders End. Jollyes is one of the UK’s largest chains of pet food superstores, offering a wide range of branded pet foods and accessories across all its outlets. With a heritage spanning more than 50 years, the business has grown to become a leading player in the market.
