Quality control is planned in all processes and products, ensuring the process runs reliably, and the products customers receive are adhering to the guaranteed quality standards, with regular external audits. Managing quality from purchasing and delivering of new raw materials, all through to the end product and packaging, keeps the supply chain transparent and ensures raw materials are traceable. Leiber use testing and environmental analysis to monitor the entire production chain and operating conditions. Their quality assurance laboratory at their Bramsche-Engter site, can analyse samples in-house using over 80 different methods. Leiber always considers what problems their knowledge can solve, and new applications that can be developed with their expertise. Their primary raw material is brewers yeast, which they have been researching and harnessing for decades, prompting interest in natural ingredients, immunostimulation, natural crop protection, conditioners, upcycling, the circular economy, resource-conserving production, the avoidance of antibiotics, vegan nutrition and vegetarian preparations.
