
Adisseo, a global leader in animal nutrition and health solutions and one of the world’s leading experts in feed additives, has appointed Li Bo as Chairman of its Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer, with the CEO appointment taking effect on 1 November 2026. Li Bo was elected Chairman on 11 September and will succeed Dr Hao Zhigang as CEO.
As CEO, Li Bo will lead Adisseo’s strategy and Executive Leadership Team. The company said the appointment supports continuity, long-term growth and value creation. Adisseo also plans to strengthen its global competitiveness, operational performance and innovation, while continuing its focus on sustainability, customers and partners.
Li Bo holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering and an Executive MBA. He has executive leadership experience in the energy and chemicals sectors and most recently served as Chairman and President of China National Bluestar, Adisseo’s majority shareholder.
In his new role, Li Bo said he would focus on strengthening the company’s position in methionine, developing its Specialties business as a growth pillar and transforming its vitamin business to create sustainable value. He also highlighted continued investment in innovation, people and operational excellence.

Adisseo operates five research centres and production sites across Europe, the US, China and Thailand. The company has more than 3000 employees and serves around 4200 customers in more than 110 countries and regions. It reported operating revenue of CNY17.23 billion in 2025. Adisseo is a major subsidiary of China National Bluestar and is listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
