The Flour Milling Maximised seminar is taking place at VICTAM Asia 2024, in co-location with Health & Nutrition Asia 2024, on 14th March 2024.
The seminar will provide an update on the equipment and technologies being used in modern-day flour milling that improves efficiencies while maximising output.
This seminar is open to all who attend Victam Asia 2024, which includes our targeted industry sector of flour millers who wish to learn about the latest technical equipment being used
whilst also hearing from leaders in the flour milling sectors from throughout Asia.

Neal Cass
After gaining his degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton in England, Neal spent 10 years developing and commissioning control systems for a major international food process system manufacturer. In 2007 he started working for Hydronix as a Customer Service and Software Development Engineer before becoming Sales Manager in 2011.

David Balaguer, the current President of Balaguer Rolls Company, has 26 years of seniority and a strong background in Business Administration, Finance and International Trade. He moved quickly from a brief banking career to head up sales for the Balaguer Group when he joined the company in 1998. Under his leadership, Balaguer Rolls Company has emerged as a world leader in the manufacture of rolls for flour, oils and animal feed. Beyond corporate achievements,David actively contributes to the growth of Balaguer’s Chinese subsidiary, Balaguer Rolls Changzhou, and expands the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific market. Married and the father of two daughters, David seamlessly blends his personal and professional life, embodying a dedication to family and a strategic vision for the company’s continued success on the global stage.
Peer Hansen
Peer Hansen is a Biochemist from University of Copenhagen. His career spans 30 years of creating industrial applications based on frontier science, including more than 20 years in the grain processing industry. Peer Hansen was the first to develop both in-bin moisture monitoring and infestation monitoring based on CO2 measurements. He is a specialist ingrain chilling and has developed 100% automatic aeration control systems for use in any climatic zone. Peer Hansen is known worldwide for his ground-breaking research in infestation control using Ozone. This research was conducted with scientists from Aarhus University, Denmark and has led to the invention of a detoxification processing line, theTOXI-SCRUB®. The TOXI-SCRUB®eradicates insects, bacteria and fungus and reduces contamination like Aflatoxins and other Mycotoxins in grain commodities and pulses to safe levels for humans and animals.
Lee Deon
Lee Deon, an engineer with an MBA, currently serves as the Area Manager for Asia Pacific at Yenar A.S. Collaborating with Yenar’s dynamic team, he played a pivotal role in transforming Yenar into the leading supplier of rolls and rolls reconditioning machines in the Asia Pacific. Joining Yenar in 2014 when the company was relatively unknown in Asia Pacific, Deon overcame significant challenges to help establish strong partnerships with major milling groups across the region. This success is evident as these companies annually purchase hundreds of rolls and consistently invest in Yenar’s innovative and reliable machines. Deon’s engagement with milling began in 2004 when he worked for a company selling various chemicals and machines. Progressing swiftly, he became the Operations Director, leading a substantial sales team, nurturing his love for mentoring and solution selling. Beyond his professional pursuits, Deon’s diverse interests include economics, psychology, business, science, history, travel, and sports.
Mr. Tripop Boonmuan
Mr. Tripop Boonmuan, the visionary behind the Maxtex Group of Companies, founded Maxtex in 1996, inspired by the concept of “Maximum Technology.” Beginning as a Service Engineer at SORTEX in 1986, he climbed the ranks to become Service Department Manager before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey with Maxtex Co., Ltd.Transitioning from being Thailand’s exclusive agent of Optical Colour Sorter devices, Tripop ventured into manufacturing in 2013, launching”MAXSORT,” Thailand’s premier brand of Optical Colour Sorter machines. Through collaboration with skilled engineers, he adeptly integrated machine capabilities to cater to diverse client requirements. Maxtex specialises in distributing and servicing machinery, with a focus on enhancing rice quality through advanced technologies. Recognising the potential of rice milling by products, Maxtex undertakes research and machinery procurement to convert them into high-value rice flour. In 2021, Maxtex Flour Factory, equipped with the groundbreaking Maxx Series Rice Flour Processing Compact Platform by Wet Milling Technology, commenced operations, heralding a new era in rice flour production.
