Mission Farms has announced a new distribution partnership with Affordable Pet Supply (APS), significantly expanding access to its raw, frozen and freeze-dried dog food and treats across the Mid-Atlantic region. Through the partnership, Mission Farms’ product portfolio will be available to independent brick-and-mortar pet retailers serviced by APS.
Mission Farms, a family-run business, is well-known for providing reasonably priced raw, frozen, and freeze-dried dog food prepared with single-source proteins appropriate for all stages of life. To satisfy pet owners looking for natural, less processed food options, the company also makes freeze-dried snacks and hand-cut raw frozen marrow bones. The company’s privately owned, USDA-inspected factory in Wisconsin produces all human-grade ingredients that are sourced from the United States. Each formulation provides a complete, balanced, nutrient-dense meal that satisfies the nutritional standards set by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for All Life Stages, including the development of large-breed dogs.
“Mission Farms was created from our desire to help pets live a happy, healthy life,” said Jim Davis, Business Development Officer for Mission Farms. “We want pets to feel nurtured and experience the same quality of nutrition as we would expect to enjoy ourselves. Everything we do at Mission Farms, we do to give pets the best life possible through real food nourishment, while providing value to the family with affordable-priced products.”
Affordable Pet Supply echoed the enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting the shared commitment to independent pet retailers and natural pet nutrition. “We are excited to partner with Mission Farms Pet Food to bring their line of exceptional all-natural raw, frozen and freeze-dried dog food and treats to independent pet retailers,” said Chuck Smyser, President of Affordable Pet Supply. “With the growing consumer interest in foods that support the health of pets, specifically foods that are synthetic-free, the partnership between Mission Farms and APS shares this commonality.”
Freeze-dried and raw frozen diets in single-source protein formulas for beef, chicken, pork and salmon are part of Mission Farms’ extended Mid-Atlantic product line.Along with hand-cut raw frozen marrow bones in a variety of beef and lamb sizes, the lineup also includes freeze-dried delicacies in 3-ounce packets with just one or two ingredients, such as bison liver with pumpkin, chicken with blueberry or cranberry, lamb liver, and turkey liver with pumpkin.
Through the partnership, Mission Farms will be able to bolster its market share in the Mid-Atlantic while providing independent pet stores with an increasing range of natural, cost-effective feeding options.
