Native Pet has announced three senior appointments across supply chain, research and development, and pet specialty sales, as it seeks to scale operations, accelerate product innovation and expand its retail presence. The company’s products are currently available in more than 13,000 retail locations nationwide.
Founded in 2017, Native Pet has focused on improving quality, safety and transparency within the pet supplement sector. The latest hires are intended to strengthen the team and support the company’s continued growth and reach.
David McCoy has been appointed Vice President of Supply Chain, becoming the company’s first to hold the role. With experience in petfood sourcing and manufacturing, he will lead supply chain strategy as the business expands. He previously served as Director of Sourcing at Instinct Pet Food.
Brad Brown joins as Director of Research and Development, bringing experience in pet nutrition and product innovation from roles at Purina and Whitebridge Pet Brands. He will oversee R&D strategy, including clinically supported formulations and new product development.
To support retail growth, Beth Galli has been appointed Director of Pet Specialty. She will focus on strengthening partnerships within the pet specialty channel, drawing on her previous role as Senior Director of Sales at Instinct Pet Food.
Together, the appointments enhance Native Pet’s capabilities across product development, supply chain and retail distribution.
Dan Schaefer, CEO and co-founder, said the new hires bring valuable expertise as the company continues to invest in systems, science and partnerships to improve product delivery and reach.
The company’s flagship product, The Daily, is among the most widely distributed pet supplements in the United States and received certification from the Clean Label Project in 2025, verifying it against more than 150 contaminants.
