The Tom&Co Group, Belgium’s market leader in pet supplies, has announced the appointment of Pascal Clouzard as Chairman of the Board of Directors of its holding company, Petserco Holding SRL.
Clouzard has been on the board since November 2023 and has over 25 years of retail industry experience. He co-founded the Tech For Retail trade exhibition and was previously CEO of Carrefour France and Carrefour Spain. He currently serves as Chairman of La Fourche, a board member of Groupe Casino and Uvesco, and an advisor to Kearney, Five Seasons Ventures, and Founders Future.
With Simone Sallustio, Gilles Vanhouwe, and Thierry Le Grelle remaining on the board to support the organisation’s long-term strategic goals, Tom&Co guaranteed continuity in its governance. To focus on his new duties as CEO of Jumbo Supermarkets, Jesper Hojer, who has served as chairman since 2022, is resigning. The management team and board conveyed their heartfelt appreciation for his dedication and important contribution to the group’s governance and performance.
Jesper Hojer expressed optimism about Tom&Co’s future and wished the business ongoing success in response to his leaving. Pascal Clouzard expressed his eagerness to assume the new post and contribute to the group’s further development, acknowledging the change started under Hojer’s direction. The CEO of Tom&Co., Jean Richard de Latour, expressed gratitude to Hojer for his leadership and welcomed a tighter partnership with Clouzard, emphasising his retail experience, strategic vision, and entrepreneurial spirit as essential resources for the business’s next expansion.
