The 28th Pet Fair Asia will return to Shanghai from August 19–23, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), marking its largest edition yet. Covering a record-breaking 320,000 square metres, the exhibition will bring together more than 2,600 exhibitors from 32 countries, reinforcing its position as one of the world’s largest and most influential pet industry trade shows.
The event’s display area has been completely sold out, highlighting the ongoing expansion of Asia’s pet care market and China’s growing relevance as a worldwide hub for pet products and innovation. The exhibition will welcome manufacturers, brand owners, distributors, buyers, and industry professionals from a variety of categories, such as pet food and treats, grooming products, healthcare, accessories, and smart pet technology for dogs, cats, and small animals.
For the first time, Pet Fair Asia will collaborate with VIV Select China 2026 on a strategic cooperative project to create a bigger platform encompassing both the pet care and cattle industries. VIV Select China will take place from August 19 to 21 at the neighbouring Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, with over 500 exhibitors specialising in livestock production, feed, animal health, and related technology. On some days, complimentary shuttle services will connect the two venues, allowing foreign guests to explore prospects throughout the animal protein and pet care value chains.
