PremieRpet has been recognised for its award-winning scientific contribution at the European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition Congress (ESVCN), reinforcing its position as a global leader in companion animal nutrition.
PremieRpet, an official ESVCN sponsor since 2019, is still a key player in the advancement of veterinary nutrition through cooperation, teaching, and research. Of the 85 papers presented at the congress in 2024, 17 were provided by the company, including two from its Nutritional Development Centre (NDC) and fifteen from its research and innovation hub, CEPEN Pet. A PremieRpet-backed study, presented by PhD candidate Pedro Marchi under the guidance of Professor Thiago Vendramini, won the Best Oral Presentation Award in the Feline category, demonstrating the effect of this effort. The study is in accordance with PremieRpet’s mission to improve cat and dog nutrition through the use of natural ingredients backed by solid scientific data.
Beyond research, PremieRpet’s Leaders Development Program is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of veterinary nutrition leaders. The project strengthened relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) by supporting Ananda Felix and Luciano Trevizan in 2023 and Vivian Pedrinelli in 2024.
Building on this momentum, PremieRpet enhanced its representation at ESVCN in 2025 by submitting nine more scientific papers for oral and poster presentations, eight of which came from CEPEN Pet and one from the NDC. Additionally accepted into the 2025 Leaders Development Program were Stephanie Theodoro and Ananda Felix.
Through its Coffee & Science program, a carefully curated conversation series led by nutrition specialist Andressa Amaral that aims to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration with attending KOLs, the company further enhanced interaction within the veterinary nutrition community.
“ESVCN is a critical platform for advancing veterinary nutrition science,” said Fernando Maluf, Executive Vice President of PremieRpet. “Our continued investment in research, talent development and collaboration underscores PremieRpet’s long-term commitment to evidence-based nutrition and supporting the professionals shaping the future of pet health.”
