Royal Canin supports VCA charities on Giving Tuesday

Royal Canin has donated 2500 bags of petfood to VCA Charities in recognition of Giving Tuesday. The donation will support VCA Charities’ Fighting Hometown Hunger grant program, which provides meals to petfood pantries and shelters across the U.S.

The donation honours graduates of the Royal Canin Pet Nutrition Advisor Program (PNAP), which aims to educate veterinary professionals. The PNAP, designed for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians (CrVTs), offers continuing education on pet nutrition and advanced condition-based topics. Since its launch in 2019, the program has earned a 4.8 out of 5-star rating, with 94% of participants reporting increased confidence in making informed nutrition recommendations.

“The PNAP program empowers Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to take the lead in pet nutrition, equipping them with tools to drive better health outcomes,” said Brianne Morrow, LVT, VTS (Nutrition).  Apart from PNAP, Royal Canin also offers year-round support to veterinary education through programs and resources for veterinary technicians.

VCA Charities, the charitable arm of VCA Animal Hospitals, helps support pet ownership by funding veterinary care, adoption programs, and emergency assistance.
