Simmons Foods Reshapes Leadership

Simmons Foods

Simmons Foods has announced changes to its executive leadership team, effective immediately. Scott Salmon joins the company’s Executive Leadership Team as Chief Commercial Officer and Jacob Rogers is being named President of Simmons Pet Food. The announced leadership changes seek to accelerate growth and advance its transformation strategy across its business units.

The changes, announced on 7 August 2026, lead Scott Salmon to oversee enterprise commercial strategy and standards, branded portfolio strategy for the Pet and Prepared Foods businesses and the design and rollout of market and commercial analytics across Simmons Foods.

Salmon’s move creates a transition at Simmons Pet Food. Jacob Rogers, previously Senior Vice President of Pet Sales, becomes the President of Simmons Pet Food. Rogers will focus on strengthening the business’s capabilities, product mix and value proposition while building on its existing momentum.

The company said Salmon will work with the leadership team to advance its strategy with greater speed and efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on customers. According to CEO Todd Simmons, Salmon helped Simmons Pet Food deliver record growth and results through innovative ideas and disciplined strategic execution. Simmons also credited Salmon and his team with improving customer value, operational excellence and the company’s own-brand portfolio.

Simmons said Rogers joined the company two years ago and quickly contributed to customer relationships, business growth and consistent results. His background spans sales and other commercial functions, which the company said will support his new responsibilities.

The leadership changes come as Simmons continues to operate across poultry, petfood and animal nutrition. The company says Simmons Pet Food is the largest supplier of store-brand wet petfood in North America. Its operations include wet petfood manufacturing in Northwest Arkansas, Emporia, Kansas and Dubuque, Iowa, producing products in formats including cans, pouches and cups.

Simmons Foods, based in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, has more than 75 years of operating history. The privately owned company and its affiliates employ about 9000 people and serve customers in more than 40 countries.
