Avanti Pet Care, a subsidiary of Avanti Feeds, has launched its new cat food brand, marking the company’s entry into the pet industry. The event, held on 2 March, 2025, was attended by over 100 veterinarians specialising in companion animals.
Avanti has partnered with Thailand’s Bluefalo Group to develop and launch the brand, Avant Furst, which is the company’s first product in the petfood sector. The company plans to expand its product range to include cat and dog food in dry, wet, and treat formats by late 2025.
In addition to the product launch, Avanti announced plans to build a state-of-the-art petfood manufacturing plant in Hyderabad, India. This facility is part of the company’s strategy to meet the growing demand for pet care solutions in India.
Dr Indra Kumar Alluri, chairman and managing director of Avanti Group, emphasised the company’s commitment to high-quality petfood and its focus on nutrition, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. He highlighted that the petfood line would aim to improve the health and well-being of pets while delivering good taste.
The launch of Avant Furst and the planned manufacturing facility reflect Avanti’s ambition to make a significant impact in the global pet care market.
