Interzoo 2026 Set to Unite Global Pet Industry with Innovation and Sustainability Focus

The global pet industry is gearing up for Interzoo 2026, as the world’s leading trade fair for pet supplies prepares to welcome professionals from across the globe from May 12–15.

Over 2,200 exhibitors from 64 countries are anticipated to attend the Nuremberg event, which will bring together decision-makers, industry experts, and innovators to discuss the newest trends, technology, and business prospects influencing the future of pet care.

There will be more talks, live exhibits, and networking opportunities at this year’s event. The Petfood Forum Europe and the inaugural Interzoo Sustainability Conference will kick off the event on May 11. These events will provide insights into new developments in the pet industry, including supply chain solutions, alternative protein sources, and sustainability initiatives.

The launch of the Interzoo Groomers’ Day on May 14, which is devoted to grooming experts looking to learn about the newest methods, equipment, and supplies in contemporary pet care, is a significant new highlight.

Attendees will have access to an extensive display of goods and services in a variety of categories, such as pet food technologies, aquaria, terraria, pet accessories, and veterinary solutions, during the four-day event. Innovation will receive special emphasis at the Fresh Ideas Stage, where entrepreneurs and start-ups will propose fresh ideas. On May 15, the Fresh Ideas Contest will take place.
Additionally, the Product Showcase will reappear with a greater emphasis on new trends, including sections devoted to sustainability and healthcare. These sections will showcase ways to enhance animal care while promoting ecologically conscious behaviours.

Additionally, visitors will have access to foreign manufacturers and suppliers through more than 16 country pavilions, and the Sourcing Stage will offer information on sourcing tactics, regulatory needs, and navigating global supply chains.
With more than fifty start-ups showcased in the Start-up Area and a focus on cooperation and knowledge sharing, Interzoo 2026 seeks to establish a vibrant setting for networking, creativity, and company growth.

The event provides a special chance for stakeholders to interact, find fresh solutions, and influence the direction of pet supplies globally as the pet business continues to change quickly.
