IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients has appointed Alana Brown as Sales Manager North America. Effective from May 2026, she will strengthen the company’s North American sales team, drawing on her experience in R&D, quality, production and customer relations.
Alana Brown brings a decade of experience in quality and R&D within the petfood industry. Most recently, she served as North American Customer Technical Insights Manager at AFB International, where she worked closely with the sales team to meet the product and technical needs of key customers. Her role focused on understanding customer requirements and delivering solutions that supported both customer satisfaction and business growth.
“Alana’s experience and knowledge of petfood and ingredient formulation as well as manufacturing will be a huge benefit to IQI and its customers,” said Brooke Eiler, Sales Manager North America.
Before joining AFB International, Brown worked as a Research Associate at Monsanto Company (now Bayer), a Pet Nutrition Specialist for Crossmark and a Research Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she earned her degree in Animal Sciences.
Brown now moves into a sales role, where she will manage customer relationships while applying her technical expertise and industry knowledge to support IQI’s growth strategy and its customers.
“Pivoting from R&D into sales is an exciting new challenge for me,” said Brown. “I’m looking forward to taking my technical background in petfood and applying it to help our partners find exactly what they need to succeed. Proudly reflecting on almost a decade of work, I’m excited for this next chapter to begin.”
