Kormotech Group has introduced an updated version of its super-premium petfood brand, Optimeal Holistic, at Zoomark 2025, the international trade show. The revised product line is aimed at pet owners seeking long-term health support for their animals through nutrition.
The refreshed Optimeal range includes dry and wet food options for both cats and dogs. Developed by veterinarians and nutritionists across Europe, the formulae are designed to meet the needs of pets based on age, size, and physiological characteristics. The official product relaunch is set for September.

Key features of the new Optimeal Holistic include up to 70% fresh meat or fish ingredients, gluten-free options, monoprotein recipes, and a blend of functional components such as probiotics, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. These ingredients are formulated to support digestive, joint, and cognitive health.
Optimeal was originally launched in 2013 and is currently sold in over 30 countries. The relaunch reflects a shift in consumer behaviour, where pets are increasingly viewed as family members. A recent survey showed 39% of Americans reduced personal spending to afford pet-related expenses.
Roman Shpak, Senior Brand Executive at Kormotech, said the brand aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality nutrition driven by growing awareness of pets’ physical and emotional needs.
Kormotech’s update comes amid broader industry trends in pet humanisation and increased consumer focus on ingredient transparency and health benefits.
