Mars has appointed Varun Kakaria as Chief Digital & Information Officer for Pet Nutrition North America. Varun joins Mars from Reckitt, where he most recently served as Chief Information Officer for North America and held a variety of digital leadership roles over 13 years.
Varun brings more than 22 years of experience across digital and technology leadership in 40+ geographies, with a proven track record of driving AI adoption, data-driven decision-making and global program delivery in complex, multinational environments.
In this new role, Varun will be instrumental in advancing Mars Digital First transformation. He’ll help drive growth through digital products, data-driven solutions and stronger business partnerships. As pet parents’ expectations continue to evolve around nutrition, health and wellness, digital innovation and data insights are becoming increasingly critical in how we serve this dynamic market.
