Mars Pet Nutrition India has appointed Ayesha Huda as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Huda, who announced the appointment on LinkedIn, brings over 16 years of experience in brand management, digital marketing, and consumer insights to the role.
In her new role, Huda will oversee the marketing strategy for Mars’ leading pet food brands, including Pedigree, Whiskas, and Sheba. She expressed excitement about returning to the FMCG sector after four years in consumer tech, particularly in content marketing. Huda also shared her personal connection to the pet care industry, having adopted two dogs, Coco and Kylie.
Before joining Mars Pet Nutrition, Huda served as Head of Marketing for Content at Prime Video and Amazon Studios, marking her second tenure with the company. She had previously been Senior Marketing Lead for Amazon Prime Video, India, starting in April 2020. Huda’s career spans several prestigious organizations, including Leo Burnett, JWT, Unilever, and Instagram.
Huda will lead the marketing team under the leadership of Salil Murthy, with a focus on shaping the lives of pet parents across India.
