Spanish petfood processor Nugape has partnered with Elocom to install a new packaging line at its Vilanova de Arousa production facility. The addition is designed to meet increasing demand for Nugape’s products.
Elocom will supply a complete packaging system, including a bagging machine and palletiser. The new equipment will feature an open-mouth bagging machine capable of handling bags ranging from 7 to 25 kg (15.4 to 55.1 lbs).
The Vilanova de Arousa plant, which serves more than 40 countries, will further enhance Nugape’s ability to distribute its products in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The new packaging line builds on existing advanced technology at the facility.
