The Farmer’s Dog has completed its previously announced acquisition of Woof, a pet company focused on functional enrichment and wellness products for dogs.

The transaction marks The Farmer’s Dog’s first acquisition and expands its focus beyond nutrition into enrichment and future pet care innovation. BofA Securities advised The Farmer’s Dog on the transaction, while Latham & Watkins provided legal counsel.

Woof, founded in 2019, will continue to operate independently under its existing brand and team. The company will gain access to The Farmer’s Dog’s resources and capabilities to support its next phase of growth.

Woof has developed refillable wellness systems for dogs, including its Pupsicle product, which the company says is used by millions of dogs for play and daily enrichment. In 2025, Woof ranked number three overall and number one in the consumer products category on the In. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.

The Farmer’s Dog provides freshly cooked, minimally processed dog food and employs Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionists®, PhD nutritionists and veterinarians in recipe development.
