The March edition of International Petfood magazine is now available in-print, online and on our App

Every story or item published offers the reader an advantage – or refreshes them on important aspects of petfood production that can save money.

In this issue we have once again a variety of topics covered, with much of the content including an article that focuses on the diet of lab rats, whilst our troubleshooting section examines the production of kibble for small mammals.

This month also features a whole bunch of content relating to extrusion, including articles relating to the evolution of petfood by our editor Joe Kearns, the use of extruders in petfood production by Amandus Kahl and Isabella Corsato Alvarenga asks if we are overcooking our kibbles.

Returning to the topic of events, its namesake section in this edition features a writeup from the recent International Production & Processing Expo in Atlanta.

This month’s interviewee is Matt Ziegler, President of Zeigler FEEDS, whilst our news section features updates from Scoular, Symrise, Percuro Pets and an appeal for help from our friends at Kormotech LLC / ТОВКормотех – a Ukranian company who have dedicated their production to saving the country’s beloved pets.
