Tucker’s Acquires Nuggets Healthy Eats

Tucker’s has acquired Nuggets Healthy Eats LLC. The deal includes Nuggets’ exclusive formulas and simmering methods, adding Bone Broth and Bone Broth Butters to Tucker’s “Feed Fun” range of toppers and meal supplements. Existing Nuggets products will be rebranded under the Tucker’s name, with a formal launch planned at SUPERZOO 2026.

Jeff Kalish said the Nuggets Healthy Eats range stood out for formulations designed to capture the full benefits of extended simmering and premium ingredients, adding that the broths and broth butters exceeded expectations.

Nuggets’ handcrafted products for dogs and cats are produced in a USDA facility and are made to high standards of ingredient quality and assurance.

Dayna Bartoldson described the acquisition as a positive outcome for pet owners and the wider consumables sector, adding that Tucker’s is well placed to continue the brand’s legacy while expanding consumer access to premium bone broth products.

Tucker’s said it will continue Nuggets’ traditional process of roasting and then slow-cooking bones with organ meat to maximise flavour and nutrient extraction. Products will be packed fresh from the kettle and frozen to preserve quality, using the established proprietary methods.

Tucker’s is a family-owned business founded in 2009 with a mission to simplify raw feeding for pets and their owners. The company sources all human-grade meats responsibly from the United States and produces its foods in its USDA Human Edible Facility in Wisconsin.
