Roger Gilbert of Milling and Grain bumped into Aidan Connolly, a Global Agri-Tech C Suite Executive and president of AgriTech Capital at the recent ‘Smart Agriweek’ event in Taipei, Taiwan. Aidan was addressing a break-out conference on the impact of AI and other technologies on agriculture and livestock industries. He’s encouraging these industries to look at AI in the same way they looked at electrification in the past. He says AI will change agriculture and aquaculture significantly and help us make better decisions using all data available. Here, he discusses the way forward with artificial intelligence and other technologies open to the food industries.
