Smalls has partnered with Supreme Pet to expand the availability of its fresh catfood and cat-focused products through independent pet retailers across the South Central U.S. The agreement covers retailers in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi and parts of Tennessee.
Through Supreme Pet’s distribution network, independent retailers in the region will gain access to Smalls’ portfolio of fresh-frozen meals, treats, broths, bowls and feeding accessories. The partnership gives stores a wider range of premium cat products while supporting Smalls’ broader strategy to expand its presence in independent pet retail.
The Supreme Pet agreement follows other distribution moves by Smalls in 2026. In March, the company partnered with Phillips Pet Food & Supplies to expand distribution through warehouses in Lansing, Michigan, and Sacramento, California. The Phillips partnership extended access to independent retailers across several Midwestern, central and Western states.
Smalls launched in 2017 and focuses exclusively on feline nutrition. The company develops fresh food and other products specifically for cats. Its current retail portfolio includes gently cooked fresh food, freeze-dried products, broths and lickable treats. Smalls says its fresh food is made with at least 80 percent animal protein and contains no preservatives or fillers. Its products are formulated with veterinary nutritionists and are certified complete and balanced for every life stage.
The latest agreement further extends the compnay’s retail reach into the South Central market. It also gives independent retailers access to a cat-specific fresh food brand as premium and minimally processed nutrition gains greater attention in the pet food category.
