IFFO Elects Adriana Giudice as New President for 2026–2027

Adriana Giudice has been elected President of IFFO for the 2026–2027 term, succeeding the outgoing leadership following the organisation’s recent board elections.

Giudice, currently CEO of Austral Group – one of Peru’s leading producers of fishmeal, fish oil and frozen-fish products – brings deep industry know-how to the global stage. Austral operates four processing plants along the Peruvian coast and runs a fleet of 19 fishing vessels, supplying marine ingredients widely used across feed and petfood sectors.

Announcing her new role, Giudice said she is “very proud to take on the role of President … as of 1 January 2026,” and looks forward to advancing “IFFO’s vision of leading the responsible development of marine ingredients globally,” leveraging her experience in innovation and sustainability.

Her election marks a key moment for marine-ingredient supply chains, especially for petfood manufacturers increasingly relying on responsibly sourced fishmeal and fish oil. Under her leadership, IFFO may steer the industry toward stronger sustainability standards, enhanced global collaboration and a renewed commitment to ingredient traceability and quality.

IFFO also confirmed Egil Magne Haugstad as Vice-President for the 2026–2027 term, joining Giudice in leading the organisation’s next phase.
