IIPTF 2026 Concludes with Record Industry Turnout

The 16th India International Pet Trade Fair (IIPTF) and the 7th Aquagic concluded successfully on August 30, 2026, recording strong participation and reinforcing the continued growth of India’s pet and aquatics industries. Held at Hall No. 6, Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the two-day event brought together 210 exhibitors from 16 countries and international visitors from 12 countries. Total attendance reached 12,425 visitors, with the exhibition floor remaining busy throughout both days.

IIPTF, a key B2B gathering place for pet brands, distributors, retailers, importers, and industry professionals from India and beyond, was organised by Creature Companion Magazine. Attendance at the educational events, seminars, and industry presentations held at the Creature Companion Hub and Creature Companion Huddle was consistently high.
“We are happy to see the pet industry’s growth and proactivity this year. We hope to continue the momentum and make the platform as comprehensive as possible for all our stakeholders,” said Linda Hawke, Convenor of IIPTF.
The Pet Industry Dialogue, which took place the day before the show and gave business executives a chance to talk about market trends, kicked off the program. The Pet Industry Awards, which honour companies, entrepreneurs, and organisations supporting India’s pet industry, were also held on the opening evening.

During the exhibition, product innovation and market intelligence were major themes. While a Pet Technology Playbook analysed technological developments, sessions looked at the pet markets in Europe, South Asia, and India. Building on the increasing popularity of the topic, the New Product Launches segment included innovations from AYURK9, Vetz Petz India, and 15 Furries.
Pet food production, global market prospects, veterinary care, and professional grooming were all included in the educational program. A canine handling training and a session on canine hip dysplasia offered professionals useful insights, while the International Grooming Symposium concentrated on Asian Fusion grooming.

Aquagic 2026, which ran concurrently with IIPTF, solidified its standing as one of India’s top exhibitions for aquariums, ornamental fish, aquatic plants, and pond products. Along with aquascaping activities, seminars, and competitions, the event included aquarium equipment, feed, and accessories.
With businesses including Drools Pet Food, Nestlé Purina, Growel Feeds, Acana, Orijen, Josera, Kormotech, Symrise Pet Food, Wahl, Andis, Taiyo Feed Mills, and Heads Up For Tails, the exhibition floor showcased the diversity of India’s pet market.

IIPTF and Aquagic 2026 demonstrated the drive behind India’s burgeoning pet business with crowded aisles, significant international involvement, and rising interest in education and innovation.
