Natural Pet Food Group, the parent company of K9 Natural and Feline Natural, has launched its K9 Natural Baked & Coated dog food range in Canada, expanding the brand’s dry food offering through an exclusive retail agreement with Pet Valu and its affiliated store banners until May 2027.
The launch introduces three recipes: Grass-Fed Red, made with New Zealand beef and lamb; Cage-Free Poultry, featuring chicken and turkey and Wild Ocean Fish, containing sustainably caught salmon, herring, cod and whitefish.
According to the company, each recipe contains 40 percent protein and has a reported digestibility of 90 percent. The formulations use animal ingredients among their first eight ingredients and include sources of omega-3 fatty acids and glucosamine. The company also highlights digestive, immune, joint, skin and coat, heart and cognitive health support.
The grain-free recipes exclude meat meals, artificial preservatives, colours and flavours. They also contain fibre-rich ingredients, including kiwifruit, shiitake mushrooms and ginger root, to support gut health.
The products are available exclusively through Pet Valu, Bosley’s by Pet Valu, Paulmac’s Pets, Tisol and Total Pet. The launch builds on the companies’ existing relationship, which began in autumn 2025.

The range adds a dry food option to K9 Natural’s existing freeze-dried and wet food offerings at Pet Valu, extending its presence across multiple petfood formats.
