Mars Petcare has appointed Mike Boffa as Global General Counsel, where he will oversee the legal strategy and operations of the company’s petcare business, valued at more than US$30 billion.
Boffa will report to Marc Carena, Global President of Mars Petcare, and join the Petcare Leadership Team. In his new role, he will lead the Petcare Legal organisation across its divisions and priority legal capabilities, working closely with teams across Mars to support business growth and governance.
Boffa brings extensive legal leadership experience within Mars, having held senior positions across multiple businesses and geographies. His previous roles include General Counsel for Royal Canin and Pet Nutrition, giving him experience across key areas of the company’s petcare operations.
As Global General Counsel, Boffa will be responsible for aligning legal strategy with the business’s priorities while supporting sustainable growth and maintaining strong governance across its divisions.
