The Farmer’s Dog Launches Crunchy Biscuits

The Farmer’s Dog has launched Crunchy Biscuits, extending its real-food positioning from complete meals into the dog treat category. The company announced the new line on 1 September 2026, describing the products as an all-natural alternative to traditional, ultra-processed dog biscuits.

The biscuits use real, whole-food ingredients and contain no added sugars, fillers or artificial preservatives, according to the company. They are available in three varieties: Beef & Sweet Potato, Goat Milk & Blueberries and Peanut Butter & Pumpkin.

Developed by the company’s on-staff Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionists®, the biscuits contain nine calories per biscuit. They also feature a snap line designed to support portioning. The company said the products aim to provide a lower-mess treat option while maintaining its focus on minimally processed ingredients.

The launch expands the company’s product offering beyond its core freshly cooked meal plans. Founded more than a decade ago, the company says it has served more than one billion meals since its launch. Crunchy Biscuits are available on The Farmer’s Dog website and on Walmart.com.

“We started The Farmer’s Dog because we knew dogs needed an alternative to the ultra-processed pellets that had become the industry standard, and we’re bringing that same thinking to treats,” said Jonathan Regev, CEO and Co-Founder of The Farmer’s Dog. As people raise the standard of their dogs’ everyday food, the company thinks it should offer better treat options, too. That’s why they created Crunchy Biscuits.
