The Farmer’s Dog Named NFL’s First Official Petfood Partner

The Farmer’s Dog

The Farmer’s Dog, which has provided freshly cooked and minimally processed meal plans for dogs for more than a decade, has entered a multi-year partnership with the National Football League (NFL). It has become the league’s first-ever Official Petfood Partner. Announced on 9 September, the partnership will bring the fresh dog food company into NFL events, content and community initiatives throughout the 2026 season.

The partnership will include activations around major NFL events, including Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Combine and the NFL Draft. It will also support community programmes such as My Cause My Cleats, NFL Salute to Service and NFL FLAG.

The collaboration launches with a campaign featuring New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo and his senior rescue dog, Duke. Skattebo has been a customer of The Farmer’s Dog and said he began feeding Duke the company’s food because he wanted to support his dog’s health and longevity. His two Dachshund puppies, Cheech and Daizy, also feature in the campaign.

“I’ve had Duke for every high and every low. He’s been my teammate long before football became my career. I started feeding him The Farmer’s Dog because I wanted as many healthy years with him as possible,” said Skattebo. “If The Farmer’s Dog teaming up with the NFL gets even one more person thinking differently about what they feed their dog, that’s something I’m proud to be part of.”

The NFL said the partnership will highlight the role dogs play in families and communities. For The Farmer’s Dog, the agreement provides access to the NFL’s large national audience and extends its existing sports partnerships. The company is also the Official Petfood of the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
