CIPS 2026 Marks 30 Years of Pet Industry Evolution

The 30th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2026), one of the largest trade shows for the pet industry worldwide, will return to Guangzhou from November 12–15, marking 30 years of progress. The show will reflect the evolving goals of the global pet business, where sourcing efficiency, supplier capabilities, innovation, and long-term partnerships are becoming increasingly vital.

CIPS 2026 is projected to encompass 120,000 square metres and welcome more than 1,400 exhibitors alongside over 80,000 professional visitors from more than 120 nations and regions. It is anticipated that over 80% of exhibitors will have integrated R&D, manufacturing, and design capabilities. Companies that are anticipated to take part include Wanpy, Petstar, COLLAR, Ethical Products, EHEIM, and Tetra.

Customers are searching beyond product discovery as global supply chains change and retail outlets grow more dispersed. Flexibility, product adaptability, manufacturing know-how, and the possibility of long-term cooperation are becoming more and more important factors in their evaluation of suppliers.
In addition to the exposition, more than forty conferences, competitions, showcases, and industry events will take place at CIPS 2026. The second CIPS International Pet Industry Convention (CIPIC), which is set for November 11 before the expo opens, will be one of the main attractions. The executive-level gathering, which has as its topic “Renewal: Toward Shared Growth,” will focus on supply chain change, evolving brand-manufacturer connections, and fresh chances for cooperation throughout the pet sector.
Through the third Aquatic Industry Convention, which is co-organised with Ornamental Fish International (OFI), the aquatics industry will also play a significant role. Data-driven aquaculture, artificial intelligence, new markets, demand driven by social media, and omnichannel retail approaches will all be covered in this program. The OFI Global Aquarium Retail Awards will also be held at the event.

The 2026 edition will continue to promote innovation and sustainability. Customers will be able to find products with obvious technological advancements, commercial significance, and useful value with the aid of the updated CIPS Innovation Award and NEW New Product Showcase Zone.
In the meantime, exhibitors promoting eco-friendly materials, waste reduction, carbon reduction, and responsible sourcing will be highlighted in the fourth “Green Paw Prints, Love For Earth” program. Since the initiative’s inception in 2023, participation has increased by more than five times.

After thirty editions, CIPS 2026 aims to be more than just a showcase for products. The event aims to assist the next stage of growth for the global pet sector by combining industry discourse, market knowledge, and sourcing opportunities.
