Kormotech has started building its second production facility in Kėdainiai, Lithuania, with an investment of €60 million. The new plant, located in the Kėdainiai Free Economic Zone, will significantly boost the company’s wet food production capacity, tripling output from 22,000 to 60,000 tonnes per year. Once fully operational, the plant will account for 61% of Kormotech’s total wet food production.
Kormotech, a family-owned company with Ukrainian origins, is a top-50 global petfood producer. The company currently operates three production facilities in total—two in Ukraine and one in Lithuania. This new 19,500 square meter facility is expected to create 200 new jobs and will house production, storage, and administrative facilities.

Chairman and co-owner Rostyslav Vovk described the expansion as a key step in the company’s global growth plan, with a target of becoming one of the top 30 petfood manufacturers worldwide by 2028. The Lithuanian facility will help Kormotech meet its goal of €500 million in revenue by 2028.
Yuriy Bykoriz, managing director for Central and Eastern Europe at Kormotech, noted that the location’s strategic position supports efficient distribution and strengthens collaborations with retailers and distributors. The expansion is also backed by favourable economic conditions and support from regional and Lithuanian government authorities.
Kormotech’s products are available in 44 countries, and the company produces for brands such as Optimeal, Club 4 Paws, My Love, and Delickcious.
