Swedish-based premium natural petfood provider The Nutriment Company (TNC), has acquired Puromenu, a raw petfood producer based in Cabanillas Del Campo, Spain. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Puromenu, founded in 2014, offers a range of pet products including gently cooked meats, raw patties, sausages, treats, chews, and supplements for dogs and cats. The company focuses on improving digestibility and palatability using vegetable ferments and probiotics, with muscle meat as the primary ingredient, and no by-products, meat meals, grains, or synthetic additives.

Puromenu’s founders, Magda Kayali and Raúl Zamorano, stated that joining TNC aligns with their vision for pet nutrition and strengthens their market impact. Anders Kristiansen, CEO of TNC, expressed confidence in the partnership, noting the shared values and potential for success in the Iberian Peninsula.
This acquisition marks TNC’s continued expansion across Europe, adding to its portfolio of nearly 20 brands. Earlier acquisitions in 2024 included The Dog’s Butcher in the UK, PETMAN in Germany, and Natural Instinct in the UK, among others.
TNC, which has been a key player in the European petfood market for over a decade, now operates a diverse range of brands across the continent.
