With just two weeks remaining until its opening, Pet Fair Asia 2026 has released its official exhibitor list, offering visitors an early look at the companies participating in what is expected to be the largest and most international edition in the event’s history. The exhibitor list is now available online ahead of the show, which will take place from August 19–23, 2026, in Shanghai, China.
Over 2,600 exhibitors and over 130,000 professional visitors from over 90 countries are expected to attend the 28th edition of Pet Fair Asia, which will occupy a fully booked 320,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event, which brings together manufacturers, brands, distributors, retailers, investors, and pet professionals from all over the world, continues to highlight China’s growing significance as a worldwide hub for the pet sector.
With 20% of exhibitors and represented brands originating from outside China, international engagement is still growing. In addition to returning pavilions from Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Poland, the United States, and the Taiwan region, many of which have expanded their exhibition presence, this year’s edition features new national pavilions from Canada and Thailand.
Growth has also been observed in various product categories, particularly at the PET FAIR ASIA SUPPLY expo, as well as in the cat, small animal, technology, and pet lifestyle sectors, which include home, fashion, and travel items. The show strives to give buyers access to the latest developments while also providing chances for sourcing, networking, and business development.
Beyond the show floor, Pet Fair Asia continues to position itself as a global business platform for industry players to investigate emerging market trends, find new products, and develop strategic alliances in Asia’s rapidly expanding pet sector.
Adding further value this year is the co-location of VIV Select China 2026, taking place from August 19–21 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC). The livestock and animal health show will encompass feed, animal health, biosecurity, farm equipment, and production technology, with over 500 exhibitors spread across 50,000 square metres.
To promote attendance at both events, organisers will provide a free shuttle bus service between the two venues on August 20 and 21, allowing guests to explore prospects across the livestock, animal health, and pet sector value chains in a single business trip.
