Pet Industry Shines at CIPS 2025 in Guangzhou

The 29th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2025) concluded successfully on November 16 at Area B of the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, marking one of the most globally engaged editions in its history. Over 100,000 professionals from 165 nations and regions attended the four-day event, which brought together over 1,200 exhibitors. International involvement increased by over 27% year over year, indicating a robust global pet sector revival.

Strong business activity, varied purchasing, and strong cross-regional trade were all present at this year’s exhibition. The Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Africa saw significant growth, while markets in Europe and North America remained stable. CIPS 2025 reaffirmed its status as a crucial global forum for industry revitalisation through product launches, strategic insights, and cross-border prospects.

CIPS 2025 demonstrated how the global pet industry is changing under the themes of Innovation, Responsibility, and Culture. Smart technologies, functional nutrition, and sustainable materials were highlighted as important development trends in the CIPS Innovation Award categories for pet food, supplies, aquatics, and design in the NEW² Product Showcase Zone.Meanwhile, the “Green Paw Prints, Love for Earth” Sustainable Development Zone demonstrated real-world progress in low-carbon processes, recycled materials, and responsible sourcing, reinforcing the industry’s commitment to greener production.

Trace the Pawprints of Time was a unique cultural exhibition that took guests on a trip through millennia of cohabitation through ancient relics, immersive visual corridors, and a cultural forum.

CIPS 2025 provided critical information to manufacturers, merchants, aquatic professionals, and international traders over the course of six significant conferences. The CIPIC International Pet Industry Convention looked at mission-driven brand development, sustainable supply chains, and global market transformation. Up-to-date information on species development, aquatic health, and digital aquaculture was presented at the Aquatic Industry Convention, which was co-organised with Ornamental Fish International (OFI). Other important gatherings, such as the Pet Industry Traffic Empowerment Conference, the CIPS & YUGUO Cross-border E-commerce Seminar, and the Global Pet Industry E-commerce Conference, provided practical advice on digital transformation, omnichannel expansion, export routes, and store-level competitiveness.
International standards were introduced to Guangzhou through dog and cat competitions, aquatics, and exotic pets.

At the 7th “PANGOL” Cup CIPS Global Grooming Conference, grooming brilliance took centre stage, as cat lovers saw elite displays at the CFF International Championship Cat Show and CFA Purebred Cat Show. World-class titles for Arowana, Goldfish, Stingray, Betta, and other species in the aquatics industry confirmed CIPS’s standing as a global aquatic powerhouse. Exotic creatures such as birds, amphibians, and reptiles were also honoured through cultural storytelling, immersive exhibits, and professional tournaments.

A powerful message of innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration is left behind as CIPS 2025 comes to an end. Returning to Guangzhou from November 12–15, 2026, the 30th China International Pet Show (CIPS 2026) will carry on its goal of connecting the boundless opportunities of the global pet business.
