Pet Supplies Plus has expanded its retail network with the opening of a new store in Queen Creek, Arizona, on 31 July, strengthening the franchise’s presence in one of the state’s fastest-growing communities. The new store is owned by Queen Creek residents Michelle Kim and John Maderos, long-time business partners who have owned and operated several companies together throughout Arizona. The new location is designed to provide local pet owners convenient access to petfood, supplies and services while reinforcing the company’s neighbourhood-focused retail model.
Located in Queen Creek, the store offers products for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish and small animals, alongside a range of services including full-service grooming, self-pet wash stations and carry-out assistance for customers purchasing larger items. The retailer also provides in-store shopping supported by digital services such as curbside pickup, same-day delivery and Autoship, enabling customers to shop through multiple channels.
The new outlet follows Pet Supplies Plus’ established franchise format, which focuses on providing a community-oriented shopping experience backed by knowledgeable staff and a broad assortment of branded pet products. Across its stores, the retailer stocks more than 11,000 products from around 400 brands, covering petfood, treats, healthcare products, accessories and habitat supplies. Prescription pet medications are also available through the company’s online pharmacy for home delivery.
Michelle and John will host a weekend-long grand opening event to welcome the community to the new Pet Supplies Plus location, featuring a US$10 reward for any US$30 purchase, special prize giveaways, discounts, and more. The event will begin on Saturday, 29 August and continue through Sunday, 30 August.
As with other recent store openings, the Queen Creek location is expected to participate in the Pet Supplies Plus Rewards programme, which offers personalised discounts, monthly promotions and loyalty incentives to members. The company has consistently used new store launches to strengthen customer engagement through rewards, promotional events and local community partnerships.
The Queen Creek opening forms part of Pet Supplies Plus’ wider expansion strategy as it continues to grow its franchise network across the United States.
