Brenntag has announced an exclusive distribution agreement with HiProMine SA to deliver insect-derived products to the animal nutrition and petfood industries across Europe. This partnership expands Brenntag’s sustainable ingredients portfolio, introducing HiProMine’s high-protein, amino acid-rich, and antimicrobial peptide feed components.
GMP+ certified HiProMine’s solutions, like the Black soldier fly-larvae based products, serve as protein and fat feed components with functional properties that benefit animal nutrition. Wouter Vullings, Director of Animal Nutrition for Brenntag EMEA, emphasized that the new products complement Brenntag’s existing sustainable ingredient offerings. This collaboration strengthens the company’s position as a leader in the European animal nutrition and petfood sectors.
Prof Damian Józefiak, co-founder of HiProMine, highlighted the partnership as a major step toward expanding their market presence in Europe. By leveraging Brenntag’s distribution network, HiProMine aims to accelerate sales and bring sustainable animal nutrition solutions to new markets.
