Delicious Food Factory (DFF), a Saudi-based company, has opened the largest petfood factory in the Middle East. The new facility, covering 55,000 square meters, will produce 60,000 tonnes of dry food and 40,000 tonnes of wet food annually.
Founded in 2020, DFF is already the largest petfood producer in Saudi Arabia. It owns the brands Horayra and Purevet for cat food, along with the newly launched Kulaib brand for dog food.
Chairman Saud Al Suhaimi stated that the factory supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by boosting the local economy and promoting a circular economy. The factory will use locally sourced premium materials to offer high-quality pet food at competitive prices, catering to growing demand across the region.
The Saudi pet care market grew from $89.7 million in 2020 to $137.7 million in 2023, according to Euromonitor.
