All of the brand’s products are made in-house, following a tried and true process. To start, the food is flash-frozen to lock in the fresh and intense flavour pets love. Next, it’s put into a vacuum chamber at sub-zero temperatures, which gently extracts moisture without the loss of nutrients. During the sublimation stage, a low, radiant heat is applied to further remove any moisture without cooking the food. Once the moisture content of the food is low enough, it’s completely freeze-dried and shelf-stable.
Available in four different protein options, including Chicken, Beef, Bison and Fish Medley, the food comes in a 14-ounce bag for a suggested retail price of US$35.95.
