Laitram Machinery’s Precision Force Dryer uses high-speed, high-volume forced-convection technology, similar to an air fryer, to dry kibble more quickly and efficiently while improving yields and palatability. Their wall-mounted fans push large volumes of air through the kibble bed, reducing dryer residence time by 40 to 75 percent. The system also lowers drying temperatures by 30 percent, resulting in more palatable kibble. It features a modular system that accommodates varying hourly capacities and enables minimal startup and shutdown time. Additionally, their processors can reliably achieve moisture targets with a variance of just 0.5 to 0.75 percent. This minimises waste and eliminates fines from three percent to 0.05 percent.
