Zoomark BolognaFiere Cosmoprof SpA and Petzoo Eurasia Ulusal Fuarcilik have announced a significant expansion of their strategic partnership, with plans to launch a new international pet exhibition in Turkey in 2028 and to strengthen Petzoo Eurasia’s global reach in the years leading up to its debut.
The announcement marks the collaboration that began in 2025 and underlines BolognaFiere Group’s long-term objective of expanding its worldwide exposition portfolio. Ulusal Fuarcilik, one of Turkey’s major pet industry exhibition organisers, will help to build the new event, which will serve as a new business gateway between Europe, Turkey, and the larger Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area.
Ahead of the launch, Zoomark will actively support Petzoo Eurasia’s international marketing and sales operations in 2026 and 2027. The project is expected to raise the exhibition’s global prominence while attracting more foreign exhibitors, buyers, and industry professionals to one of the world’s most rapidly increasing pet markets.
By combining their expertise, international networks, and market knowledge, the partners hope to develop business relationships throughout the global pet industry and open up new chances for enterprises looking to expand into Turkey and surrounding regions.
Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere, said the strengthened alliance reflects the organisation’s commitment to investing in high-potential international markets.
“The development of international exhibition platforms is a key pillar of BolognaFiere Group’s growth strategy,” he said. “The strengthening of our cooperation with Ulusal Fuarcilik and Petzoo Eurasia reflects our commitment to building bridges between industries and communities while reinforcing our role as a global connector for the pet industry.”
Selçuk Çetin, CEO of Ulusal Fuarcilik and General Manager of Petzoo Eurasia, sees Turkey as a crucial meeting place between Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The cooperation has already garnered interest from worldwide parties.
Luisa Bersanetti, Zoomark Exhibition Manager, said the collaboration exemplifies how long-term partnerships can lead to ambitious global projects. She stated that increasing demand from companies wishing to expand into Turkey and the MENA area has prompted the decision to step up international marketing and sales support ahead of the anticipated 2028 launch.
The increased cooperation contributes to Zoomark’s larger aim of linking the global pet sector through international exhibition platforms that promote innovation, knowledge exchange, and business development. With Turkey’s advantageous geographic location and quickly increasing market, the new expo is projected to become a significant center for companies looking to expand their presence in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
