Elita, an Australian pet-health startup, has raised $1.9 million to expand its preventative healthcare platform for dogs and develop new at-home biological testing technology.
The funding round was backed by US venture capital firm Boost VC, alongside Gandel Invest, Artesian’s Female Leaders Fund, Touch Ventures and M8 Ventures. Elita will use the funding to develop Blueprint360, an at-home biological testing product being developed in-house and scheduled to launch later in 2026.
The company has also partnered with Australian veterinary telehealth company VetChat to provide 24/7 access to local veterinarians. Vets will be able to review a dog’s Blueprint health history before consultations.
The latest funding follows a $1.1 million pre-Seed round in July 2025, which supported the company’s initial work on a stem-cell bank for Australian pets.
The Melbourne-based company was founded in December 2024 by Paloma Newton and Jackson Gritching. Its platform, Elita Blueprint, is designed to track changes in a dog’s health over time by combining medical history, biological test results and information provided by owners.
