Founded in 2014, Big Creek Foods specialises in USA-made jerky treats, air-dried treats, and functional pet nutrition. The company operates a new facility in Gainesville, Georgia, focused on production of jerky, semi-moist treats, and functional supplements.
Scholtus, established in 1981 in the Netherlands, has over 40 years of experience in producing high-quality pet snacks. Its facilities across the Netherlands, the US, and China produce a wide range of products, including training treats, dental chews, and supplements.
The combined expertise of Big Creek Foods and Scholtus provides a broad range of premium pet treats across three continents, reducing transportation costs for East Coast and European markets. Both companies adhere to strict food safety standards and offer custom formulation capabilities to pet brands.
With this expanded footprint, Big Creek Foods and Scholtus aim to lead the pet treat market with innovative, science-driven nutrition and sustainable sourcing.
