DIA has unveiled a new range of petfood, featuring 59 innovative products for dogs and cats, all supported by veterinarians. This extensive selection includes snacks, wet foods, and dry foods, catering to pets of all ages—from puppies to seniors.
The standout premium line emphasises grain-free recipes and high proportions of animal-derived ingredients. Fresh meat, such as chicken or salmon, is the primary ingredient in their dry food offerings.
The new lines, Deligato for cats and Deliperro for dogs, provide balanced, tasty, and affordable nutrition for pets without breaking the bank.
Recent studies show a growing trend among pet owners seeking healthier food options. According to the National Association of Pet Food Manufacturers (ANFAAC), 50.2% of families in Spain have pets, with over 29 million in total—9.3 million dogs and 5.8 million cats. Notably, 70% of pet owners believe that good nutrition is crucial for their pets’ health and longevity.
“Dia has set out to revolutionise the sector with its new Petfood range,” a representative stated, highlighting that a diet rich in protein, healthy fats, and fibre promotes better health and mood in pets. The new lines aim to break the stereotype that high-quality food must be expensive.
The Deligato line features 26 products, including five snacks, 15 varieties of wet food, and six dry options, while the Deliperro range consists of 33 products, with 12 snacks, 13 wet foods, and eight dry foods. Each product is designed to meet the specific nutritional needs of pets at every stage of their lives.
