Mars recently announced the appointment of Ikdeep Singh as the new Global President for its Pet Nutrition Business and a key member of Mars Petcare’s global leadership team.
Ikdeep will be responsible for several of Mars’ petfood brands including Pedigree, Whiskas, Sheba and Cesar and is tasked with leading the strategy for growing Mars’ portfolio in over 50 global markets. Mr Singh will oversee a team of over 18,000 associates globally.
He joined Mars back in August 2020 as Pet Nutrition’s Regional President for North America and under his leadership oversaw the largest growth of the business thanks to focus on digital transformation, prioritising innovation and leveraging data.

Prior to joining Mars Ikdeep spent six years at the L’Oreal Group where he served as President working across the Consumer Products and Luxury divisions in North America and prior to that, spent 14 years at multinational consumer goods corporation Procter and Gamble.
Mr Singh brings a global perspective to the role, having lived in six countries, with fluency in six languages. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Dalhousie University and an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
