Roger Ubags

Roger Ubags is 54 years old and proud to be a dad to three kids—two daughters, 23 and 24, and a 21-year-old son. Roger has been with Van Aarsen since 2008, starting as a project engineer, moving up to project manager, and later transitioning to the sales role in 2015. In the sales role, he looked after the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. But since June 2022, Roger has been handling the Southeast Asia region, covering Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam. With more than 15 years in the field, he feels lucky to share what he’s learned with his colleagues, both inside and outside the company. He’s always open to picking up something new from them too.
Neal Cass

After gaining his degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton in England, Neal spent 10 years developing and commissioning control systems for a major international food process system manufacturer. In 2007 he started working for Hydronix as a Customer Service and Software Development Engineer before becoming Sales Manager in 2011.
Dr. Claus Braunbeck

Dr. Claus M. Braunbeck studied agronomy at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonnand the University of Hohenheim. He graduated in the field of agricultural engineering. He then took his Ph. D. at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering in the Tropics and Subtropics of the University of Hohenheim. During his doctorate he worked on the development a rice husk furnace for the low-temperature drying of paddy. During this time he supported a German Technical Cooperation(GTZ) project on post-harvest technology for rice in the humid tropics at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Los Banos, Philippines. Following this project Dr. Braunbeck worked for almost 10 years as a product manager in the field of ventilation technology in agriculture. Later he joined GEAFarm TechnologiesGmbH as sales manager for milking equipment with responsibility for sales in Asia. Since 2011 Dr. Braunbeck has been the Asia sales manager for FrigorTec GmbH. FrigorTec manufacture grain cooling solution to assure grain safety worldwide.
Marco Prati

Marco Prati is the CEO of PLP Systems, an International company based in Italy specialising in the development and production of machinery for liquid and powder handling. Marco studied Mechanical Implementation and Construction in the Province of Piacenza and then in 2003 began working for PLP Systems, a company founded in 1978 by his father. Marco began his career path in the Technical Design and Development office and was instrumental in reinventing the company with innovation and new technology. Together with the help of his experienced team, PLP were able to offer customers complete and customised solutions for the dosing, coating and weighing of both powders and liquids. Marco then transferred to the Sales office and over the past decade his work has been focused upon many areas including the creation and development of a PLP worldwide commercial network covering, in specific, Asia, South America and Europe, a project which is in continuous growth and development.
Sebastiaan van Dijk

Sebastiaan van Dijk is an industry expert specializing in dosing and weighing solutions.
In his role of Area Sales Manager Asia at KSE, Sebastiaan leverages the extensive knowledge and experience within the company to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
With a focus on precision and efficiency, he excels in developing tailored solutions, ensuring seamless integration and exceeding client expectations.
Olaf Nährig

Olaf Naehrig is Amandus Kahl’s Senior Area Manager, responsible for the Asia/ Pacific markets. He has been in Amandus Kahl’s sales team since 1996 and has been active in the Asian market for over 24 years. In addition to the pelleting process technology, the expander technology has been one of his main fields of activities, especially in mature Asian expanders markets as Japan and Korea and the fast-developing expander markets such as in Taiwan and Vietnam. He is very familiar with all expects of the use of expanders in feed milling, such as improved feed digestibility, an increase of pellet quality and pellet press capacity, hygiene, reduction of anti-nutritive factors for pigs, poultry and cattle feeds.
Through his work at Amandus Kahl, Olaf is very familiar as well with general pelleting technology, in particular with the flat die press technology, in which Amandus Kahl is the global technology leader.
He is a qualified machine fitter and graduated from Nordakademie Elmshorn/Hamburg, Germany, with a degree in Industrial Engineering/ Business Administration.
Justin van den Heuvel

Justin van den Heuvel is the head of sales at Muller Beltex in The Netherlands. He is responsible for all sales activities for Muller Beltex worldwide. Currently he is working almost 12 years for Muller Beltex. Muller Beltex supplies a very wide range of top-quality branded products for horizontal and vertical transportation and processing of feed and food raw materials. Our Total Cost of Ownership approach ensures our customer a sustainable solution with a maximum service life for your specific issue. We unburden our customers with extended time between maintenance stops and increased capacity and / or lower cost per tonne of processed product.
Sven Konings

Sven Konings, 36 years old, holds three Bachelor titles and is the Commercial Manager for TSC Silos, a worldwide operating supplier of steel, and square silo solutions for various industries, mainly feed and food-related. Sven joined TSC Silos in 2013 as an Account Manager. Both roles allowed him to travel worldwide, advising both end-users and system integrators on how square silo constructions can get integrated into their projects. This role also means he witnesses many local and global operating companies from the heart of their production. With a great interest in how cultural aspects impact the things we do, it is easy for him to stay curious.
Sven takes great pride in directly contributing to the world’s food safety and security, always focusing on increasing efficiency, as is embedded in the DNA of TSC Silos.
Nicoleta Axenti

As a person, grown up in a polyglot and multicultural family, I have always had a strong passion and curiosity about meeting new people and studying different cultural approaches. After graduating in “Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication for business” at the University of Padua, Italy I decided that my passion could find a great application in marketing.
So, in 2019 I got a Master Degree in “Business Internationalization and marketing with focus on Eastern European countries and Central Asia” at “Ca’ Foscari” University in Venice, Italy. I carried out my curricular internship in Metalmont, and delivering a Project Work focusing on the potential of the Eastern European grain markets.
Thanks to Metalmont I started my adventure in the agricultural and agro-industrial sector, working closely with product designers and engineers, studying the grain storage field, as well as the equipment and solutions used in this sector. Today I’m the Metalmont Marketing Manager and I work with Italian and international grain traders, food processing companies, feed millers and oil extraction plants, studying their needs, sharing best practices and working with them on new and innovative storage and grain handling solutions.
Marco Baumann

Marco Baumann, Vice President Business Unit Capital at ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel, brings over three decades of expertise in plant engineering to his role. With a background in Business Economics from Switzerland and a native of South Africa, Marco has established himself as a key figure in the industry.
Previously serving as the Industry Director for Animal Feed at ANDRITZ, Marco played a pivotal role in solidifying the company’s position as the preferred strategic partner for plant solutions in the global feed and biofuel sectors. His leadership has been instrumental in navigating the intricate challenges faced by these industries, leveraging his extensive knowledge and experience.
As a proactive and visionary leader, Marco is dedicated to positioning ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel at the forefront of addressing global issues such as feeding a growing population. He emphasizes the importance of forging long-term relationships with customers to drive sustainable and successful solutions forward.
Dr. Sohail Nazari

Dr. Sohail Nazari currently serves as the Head of the Automation and Digitalization Business Unit and Global Vice President of the Feed and Biofuel Division at ANDRITZ.
Since 2006, Sohail has been a dedicated advocate and facilitator for introducing advanced digital technologies into various industries, including Automotive, Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper, Mining & Mineral Processing, and Feed & Biofuels. His primary focus is helping operations achieve higher efficiency and productivity through digital transformation while also reducing their carbon footprint by decreasing energy consumption. Along this journey, he has successfully launched and commercialized multiple digitalization products and businesses, received numerous awards, been invited as a keynote speaker in various professional settings, and holds a patent.
Josef Barbi
Josef W Barbi, born in Austria shortly after World War II, to Walter Barbi, Italian, and Hermine Barbi, German, basic Education and Seminary in Melk, Austria, worked on small Family Farm and in local Flour Mill and Feed Mill during studying. He worked and studied Machinery Mechanics and Agriculture (Animal Production) and had Military Services to 1966, Migrating to the UK and Canada to work in the Dairy Industry and on a large Cattle Range to pay University for Mechanical and Industrial Process Engineering. He later migrated to South America as a special Process Engineer designing and installing many Process Systems and Production Plants until 1979.
He migrated to the U.S. in 1979, specialising in Aquatic Feeds Production Technologies, and built the first special Shrimp Feed Plant for China Sea Recourses and later developed, designed and built over 380 Process Systems and Plants in over 40 Countries around the Globe, with his own Engineering and Manufacturing Company starting in 1983.
Several Partnership for Cultivation and Productions of Fish and Shrimp in the U.S. and Latin America, and own Genetics Cattle Ranch, applying latest production and nutrition technologies.
Jonathan Zheng
Jonathan Zheng has been working in feed industry for 14 years and he has much experience in poultry, livestock, aqua feed and pet food processing fields.
He is the general manager of MEA in Zhengchang group.
