Open Farm, a brand known for its responsible petfood sourcing, has introduced three new lines of premium pet treats at the SUPERZOO trade show. The debut includes Kitty Cubes, Icelandic Air-Dried Dog Treats, and Regenerative Lamb Lung Cubes, all developed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, functional pet products.
The company emphasises its commitment to nutrition, animal welfare, and sustainability. Each treat line is certified by respected animal welfare organisations, including Certified Humane and Marine Stewardship Council. Open Farm aims to respond to modern pet owners who seek treats that provide both enjoyment and health benefits.
Mark Sapir, Chief Marketing Officer of Open Farm, stated, “We design every treat with the same care and commitment to quality as we do our complete and balanced meals. From our first-ever cat treat to Icelandic fish treats to regeneratively sourced lamb lung, each launch is rooted in our mission to raise the bar for nutrition, animal welfare, sustainability, and transparency in petfood.”
The first of its kind, Kitty Cubes is Open Farm’s inaugural cat treat, responding to rising cat ownership. These freeze-dried, raw treats contain up to 92% meat from certified sources and are enhanced with non-GMO superfoods. They come in three flavours: Chicken & Turkey, Salmon & Mackerel, and Surf & Turf.
For dogs, the Icelandic Air-Dried Dog Treats are made with sustainably sourced fish from Iceland. These treats are air-dried to preserve nutrition and are rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Available formats include Icelandic Air-Dried Bars and Cod Skin Sticks.
The third launch, Regenerative Lamb Lung Cubes, is notable for being the first pet treat sourced from regenerative farming practices. These treats are made from pasture-raised lamb lung and aim to promote soil health and ecosystem restoration through responsible farming methods.
Open Farm’s new treats will be available online and in pet stores across North America starting this fall.
