The 28th edition of Pet Fair Asia 2026 is set to return to Shanghai from August 19–23, 2026, bringing a more international and business-focused approach than ever before. Acknowledged as the premier pet industry event in Asia, the show keeps developing into a forward-thinking venue that fosters creativity, international cooperation, and long-term expansion.
Over 2,600 exhibitors will be present at the event, which will cover a record 320,000 square meters and provide a thorough display of pet food, supplies, healthcare, and other related topics. The 2026 edition will feature fast-growing trends such functional nutrition, fresh pet foods, smart technology, pet fashion, and human–pet co-living in addition to core segments, illustrating the industry’s expanding convergence with the IT and leisure sectors.
Discovery, Genius Hub, Pet Fashion Week, and Start-Up are just a few of the themed areas that will highlight innovation and up-and-coming companies influencing the pet industry’s future. The co-located supply chain exhibition, PET FAIR SUPPLY, is expanding with two more halls, reaching 70,000 square meters and more than 900 exhibitors with a focus on smart industrial solutions, manufacturing, and packaging.
Growing Global Influence
The event will feature new national pavilions from Australia, Canada, and Thailand, building on its strong global representation in earlier editions and enhancing its position as a gateway to the Asian market. The 2025 edition drew 130,000 local professionals and attendees from 90 countries, with a noteworthy increase in foreign participation, reflecting this rising impact.
The VIP B2B Day, an invitation-only opening day intended to promote excellent networking, is a significant new feature for 2026. Exhibitors and important buyers will have a more concentrated environment thanks to this effort, which will foster deep contacts and productive business conversations.
“Pet Fair Asia has already established itself as an unmissable global meeting hub in Asia,” said Edwin Tan, CEO of Globus Events. He highlighted China’s position as both a manufacturing powerhouse and a rapidly expanding consumer market, offering significant opportunities for global pet businesses. Pet Fair Asia 2026 is expected to continue to be a crucial gathering place for the worldwide pet industry due to its increased size, global reach, and improved B2B experience.
